Thanks Alex! Yep, I ran 6.14 gears on the. '57 Olds/Pontiac rear end in my old C/SM Camaro. Old Zoom gears. Tried everything available for gear lube back then (mid/late '70s) to slow down wear on those few, small pinion teeth. My 5.57 gears last fine, I know a. 5.86 is likely to not last as long.
