The real secret is picking the sweet spot by reading the Racepak during Q sessions and then hanging in there when it comes time to race. I'll take the go fast clutch (a far lighter and smaller unit than a McLeod) that will also go rounds every time-but hey-it's where ever your comfort and wallet level will allow you to go. Like I said the McLeod stuff is right for 95% handicap stick cars and would never be a bad choice for sure- although you will never see one of these types of clutches in any fast Comp or PS car, and it's not because they have the luxury of pulling it out and servicing it between rounds.
