Default Re: 1965 Impala BBC Stocker Update

Rough bodywork is finished. Floor Pans and new trunk installed. Working on mocking up roll bar with frame out of car, attach frame than weld roll bar in. I will have more pics soon.

This might not be a "dime rocket" but I have less than $3000 in this car which includes the purchase price of $1600 delivered from Delaware to NY. Would I use this as a street car restification", no. as the rust repair has been a lot especially with my amateur body work skills and the $199 super Chinese welder i have been using which finally took a crap. My next $ outlay will be for a new and much better welder in 2 weeks.

Really my only big $ outlay will be a converter- I have the rest including rear, 396-325 motor from my 68- I yea, I can use roller rockers now, still have stamp steel rockers in motor, but never broke one when I was racing- probaly due to the low .398 lift. I used regular Crane rockers, not the long slot ones either, never had a problem-

Have to dig my 77 Crew cab dually Chevy truck out to tow wuth and get a trailer too-
Can't wait -
