Re: Big news for the Sonoma LODRS race July 21-22 next year!
This event will be a 2 day LODRS. Friday will be test n tune, Saturday all classes will get 2 time runs, with eliminations on Sunday. This will allow for racer's to take less time off work and arrive later.
Saturday evening will host a "Festival of Fire" type of event. With the extended curfew of 10pm sharp, Saturday night we will offer Jet Cars, Pro Mods, Small and Big Tire Classes, along with a 32 car Bracket Race (LODRS Racers only).
Saturday Night Bracket Race Info:
32 cars.
8 bottom bulb and 24 top bulb.
Bottom bulb winner after 3 rounds will face top bulb cars in the semis (the two will combine at that point).
$5000 to Win
$1000 to Runner Up
$500 to each Semi
$250 to enter.
Entries open to LODRS Sonoma event drivers only. Saturday morning of the race we will start taking a list of names that would like to enter. If we get more then 8 bottom bulbers and/or more then 24 top bulbers we will do a lottery to determine the 32 spots.
All competitors will get one time run prior to first round.
1/8th mile race.
