If you turned them loose on the same engines, apples to apples, especially with the 3 tenths gift handicap that IHRA had, and no horsepower penalty system in place, it would have been entertaining at the least. Most NHRA cars that showed up at IHRA races left their cars in bracket mode and were top top qualifiers ..
