My statement that there is more power there is based on my observations of customers cars after the HP unit has been tuned.
As you said Ed, it's the guy doing the tuning for sure ,but in both cases the same guy was doing the tuning .
The results I've been told are not in peak HP or torque ,but rather in ability to tune each cyl. individually and getting gains in the mid rpm range.... This was on a car that previously used a Holley Commander 950.
As far as the Fast XFI goes ,That car also had some gains ,but again ,according to the owner ,it was found under peak hp.
The simplicity of the Holley HP for me makes it a better choice over the XFI particularly on engines using COP ignition......The XFI harness is bulky and clumsy.
