I hear you and agree 100%. Today's Pro Stock is like a NASCAR version of the class, totally unrecognizable from its original concept.
To me, the Pro Stock class ended when they stopped resembling production vehicles; when they started using body styles that were
never V-8 powered and especially those that were front wheel drive vehicles originally.
My favorite (and as far as I'm concerned the best) Pro Stock era is the Bill Jenkins/Sox&Martin/Dick Landy/Don Nicholson/Wally Booth/Don Carlton/early Bob Glidden/Gapp & Roush and etc., era.
