Default Re: Hydraulic Fluid in automatics

I was told by a great super stock racer that's no longer with us to use John Deere TY22000. He said with atf fluid he changed it every 50 passes and the John Deere he put it in and ran it 150 passes when he would pull trans to freshen it. I ran it in a bracket car with a ford C4 with great luck and that's what he ran also. I just built a fresh C4 for a street truck put it in it but hasn't been long enough to tell how it will workout on the street. Around a 1000 miles so far so good.
