Re: 92 Firebird rear wheels
The problems are really at the frt. lower factory tub of the wheelwell. Hrd to fit much on a 10" wheel with the way that frt section is shaped. I used a sawzall and cut the frt. section out and made a box. Then as time progressed and i tried the 29.5x10.5W It took a lot more cutting. If I was starting over with one of these bodies I either would have back halfed the car for big tires or at the very least cut a lot more out. The factory coil spring pockets are a problem area as the bulge into the tire space. Either commit to the sawzall or stay with stocker size tires and make the suspension work. Small tires can be a liability on many tracks when bracket racing, especially if you build power or have a lot of starting line ratio.
