As usual, the Grand Bend track was in excellent shape and well prepped.
The weather man was once again proven wrong as only one minor sprinkle slowed racing on Saturday.
Saturday's race had a field of 24 cars.
After much close racing, Vince Giglio's GT Camaro defeated Doug Box's B/SA '69 Camaro in a double break-out final.
Sunday's race had 21 cars in attendance.
After 5 rounds of close racing, Rob Carpenter's GT/EA Camaro held off the 150 mph charge of Gene Emes SS/AS Camaro with a right-on-the-dial 10.020 to Gene's .010 off. Good racing!
Rob takes the early lead in the Can-Am points. Up-dated points will be posted on our web-site shortly.
