Yeah, loved those old cars. As far as what happened to many of them, alot of them probably ended up as bracket cars. Sadly, a few probably got cut up and scrapped. Many are likely still setting in somebody's old garage, warehouse, various shops. Even sadder, many of the owners are old now, long ago lost interest in the cars, they'll end up being inherited by grandkids or great grandkids that have no idea as to the history of the car they get.

I've often wondered if you could take x-ray pictures of almost any town/city of size, what treasures would you find. I was stationed at Ft.Hood in 1980-81, I was in downtown Killeen one Saturday, came across a locked car lot. Setting in the back row was one of the old mid 60's altered wheelbase Dodge's. Wonder whatever became of that car?
