If the rotor and caliper stay where they are supposed to you dont need that much piston return for there to be no rotor to pad contact when the brakes are released . And many companys including some OEM use a square seal so the piston returns more . Is that the best design ? debatable . No matter what you do take those Aero's off and find the closest trash can .
