Jeff! According to Jack McCormack the hood scoop is legal with the single 4bbl Hemi and approved by the NHRA. The other thing that i forgot was that i have the MCH sheetmetal intake , so that means I only have the top of the choke tower to the base of the carb plus 1.25" clearence to the flat surface, i don' t know how much drop there is on the part you mentioned .I just hope my tank will get within site of those nasty corvettes in SS/DA, & SS/EA. Never know until you try ! I'll post results after testing, unless they really suck. Thanks to all who repllied,........ Later ...John Lang
