Being the new guy I'm not commenting on anyone. I'm happy nobody called out my weak reaction times.
Progress, My previous engine came up for sale. I'll check it out next week in person as it is out of province. Current owner's vehicle crashed. '73 Maverick due to crank failure. He had it rebuilt to 523CI, forged rotating assembly (Eagle or Scat?) 12:1 Compression, still has Edelbrock Alum heads & intake, and original cam, roller lifts / rockers. Rebuilt in 2018, never started, never on the dyno. His health went south.
Apparently the replacement block is a 4 bolt main cobra jet.??
Anyone know the Ford block codes? I had a hard time sourcing 4 bolt main block in 1999-2000's. Would like to verify 4 bolt mains without dropping the pan.
