Hi Rich I wonder if the synthetic fuild is taking more heat out of the trans? As in cooling more effectively?
Way back when they first came out with synthetic oils. We were talking with Tom Hoover from Chrysler about them and he had told us in the preliminary stages of testing. They found the oil temps up 10 to 15 degrees. At the time they weren't sure if it was because the oil was transferring heat better, or creating heat because it wasn't doing its job.
Good luck ( I just put $8 a quart stuff in mine)
