The car i'm looking for was bought new by Les Kinney from Albany, Ga. The car was originally a 390 car but he bought the drivetrain out of George Warren's #6 Hurst factory SS car when George converted his car to Modified Production. Les Sold the car to Sherman Adcock,Sr around '74 or so. Sherman only ran the car locally a couple of times and sold it. The buyer bought it at the Warner Robbins race track in that same time period. Sherman has passed away but if i remember the buyer was from East Georgia or possibly South Carolina. George Warren's car has been restored by Buddy Belzer from Rapid City, SD and he is offering a finders fee if the car can be located.
