Default No-prep/small-tire/outlaw street racer/social media influenc

I love Stock Eliminator.

I love the beauty and grace of sanctioned racing involving these meticulously prepared racing machines.

I dig W/SA. I even dig EF/SA.

But my youtube feed has been clogged lately with "social media influencers" to whom drag racing appears to simply be a medium to create content.

So while the U/SA guy, with his agonizingly clean wagon that he's been developing for 30 years is simply background noise to the consumer-grade lemmings heading for the blue plastic portable toilets to return their $8 plastic cups of light beer, these character actors on social media are raking in tens of thousands of dollars a month, with their 1,500-horsepower LS/turbo powered cars artfully camouflaged as junkyard hoopties, often illegally on public roads, or even renting public roads to simulate illegal street racing for the sake of sensationalism.

One clue should be that if they can afford to regularly rent a drag strip and a staff including a film crew, to test their car that has a parachute and a funny car cage, then they can probably afford to lose the duct tape and zip-wraps, and paint their car so it doesn't look like something that was abandoned and needs to be towed away.

And as the father of a daughter, I also don't need to know about their idiot girlfriend's OnlyFans porn site.
