Why not put one of these "penny savers" together and support the guys who appreciate your business?

Mark, you bring up some good points here. The quota system has pretty much "locked out" the average S/SS Racer as far as Natl. Events go. I can deal with that. I was getting sick of the theatrics anyway. I enjoy the Divs. and Natl. Opens and they give me my "fix". I don't get out to the Assn. Races but there are a few really good Assns. here in the northeast.
I don't think that the average Wanna-be Racer realizes just how easy and in-expensive it really is to put together one of these "penny savers". As "specialized" as even the average foot-brake bracket car has become, it's got to be cheaper and easier to build a competitive "under class" Stocker.
The way many of the local tracks here in the northeast have cut back their bracket programs, some to as little as 2 or 1 day a month, it would almost make sense to build a "Dime Rocket" S/SS car. You can bracket race a S/SS car. You can't S/SS race your bracket car. It just seems to me that it would be logical to build a car that you can get the most use out of.
