Ed, I heard of guys using the 2 step to kill ET on the top end. I know of guys that have used it on the pedal for years and have had no problem. It isn't like throwing the car in reverse at 120 MPH. I would not loose sleep over it.
I am reverseing my posistion here but the stick guys should be alowed to use a remote button to activate the 2 step to make it easier to wire the car and shift it with out the 2 step coming on. I wouldn't mind that rule changing for those guys.

Just can't wait for the season to start up here.

I wonder how many people have their lawyer on retainer for when the guy in the other lane hits the brakes at the stripe,activating the 2 step, and he loses it at contact is made.I never liked the idea of 2 steps in Stock and with the new rule now I'm also a bit leary about the above senario.
