I've run everything from 16-26 psi and saw zero difference in performance. I'm just trying to get the tire to wear evenly.
Even at 17, I still wear the centers out first but I really don't want to run less. I've been using 17 for at least 3 seasons and haven't seen any ill effects, although I usually only check them before the first and second passes so I may end up closer to 18 by the end of the day.
