Yes, overall it a heavy car. I am not currently planning to run this car in GT at any point in the future. But just for me to learn, does the FGT/G Class min wgt value (3400# minus driver) listed below apply to all cars in that class or just this Camaro specifically? I guess the same question applies to the chart for the SS/FA class. Never raced, sat in or built a super stock car but based on what I know about new cars, I believe I can ditch 400# easy and not cheat to do so. I am willing to give it a shot, in the future with no guarantees of success, expecting to make dumb and costly mistakes (hopefully just not unsafe for me or others) and doing all of the fab, paint, interior, wiring and engine work myself. I would like to build the trans and rearend too. I don't plan on being the fastest car in the country in any class, I want to have fun, try to go rounds, and continue to learn, a LOT! I want to see what I can do, on my own and hope that it helps me in my career too.
