Default Re: AHFS at Indy

Sorry folks, but if Indy was really Indy, there would be no AHFS, the field would consist of all class winners and the fastest others. The field would be like 96 cars which would cover all the classes and the other quick cars. Tear downs deemed by NHRA. Most of these cars have been through NHRA divisionals and opens. Caught cheating, banned for three years from competition and Indy. This is Indy, time for the bad boys, in all classes, not the fastest 128, that is so bogus. For you whiners that say well there is only one car in that class, well, build one for that class and quit your whining.

If you want to run, say, B/SA well, get ready Buster, there is a ton of people that want to run B/SA, fastest class winner gets in, period. Why not build a R-U/SA car that NHRA has factored so low that you will qualify easily in the top of the field. Still have to win class or be one of the fastest qualifiers.

This is Indy, go fast or go home, but it is a class race, let's not loose sight of that.
