1975... A/Dragster was 0.00..everything below that got a fixed spot amount, loosely based on the difference in the records at the closing of 1974 . Flat out, first to finish line, winner.
Car counts suffered greatly..Same cars would win all the time.
1976 then had breakouts back for Divisionals, then by about 77, breakout racing was back in full.
You were allowed to submit one dial under number before the start of eliminations.
Shoe polish racing came to be within a few years after.
