True that the track has to pay for the staff to man the gates, empty the trash etc during the week. We look at it as a convenience fee I suppose, it works out a lot better for racers coming far away to pay $10 to stay per night at the track. In years past when competitors were lined up on the road course there was no charge for that.

When you figure in all of the cash we spend elsewhere this is pretty cheap. And yes, the paying to get into the Zoo fee has never made sense to me, but some things never do.....
