I use one with mechanical injection. It works pretty well the vast majority of the time.

In 5 division races last year, I had two runs that were far from the target, like .07 fast and .08 slow. Both of these were time runs, but still not good because you don't know what the next run will look like. No data logger, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a variance in throttle stop RPM.
