Thank You Daryl,
I know you appreciate my 'digging'.
From general 'digging'.
Ed Miller > 'dialed-in' at { 10.75 }, off his lowest ET in the
SS/B Class Run-Offs.
Pete M***** 'dialed-in' at { 11.10 } which was the SS/BA
NHRA National Record at the time {July 21, 1968}.
Though, many of the 1968 SS/BA ~ 'A-Body' Race Hemi's could run
under the Record.
Dave Marinelli of 'Islip Speed Shop' told me that Ed Miller went by the
'Manhattan Speed Shop' Dart at 'mid-track', and then eased thru the
Traps as to 'not' break-out.
Dave said, that Pete M***** and his crew from North Manhattan were
still working out 'some kinks' out of the SS/BA Dart in July 1968.
He remembers the Dart running around { 11.25's } during Time Trials
and SS/BA Class 'run-offs'.
But later in the year, the Dart was down into the low 11.00's when they
saw it run at Westhampton Drag Strip out on Eastern, Long Island
against the Motion Performance A/MP Camaro.
