Daryl,

General Facts about the 1968 Super Stock Magazine Nationals

X/SS Class

An 'Open' Heads-Up {no handicap} Class.

* Sox & Martin ~ 1968 BO29 Barracuda ~ 'Match Race Car' {White Hood w/Blue Stripe}
'Lil Boss' on the fenders, all Blue roof and trunk-lid.

* Dick Landy ~ 1968 LO23 Dart ~ '4-Speed' ~ 'Match-Race Car'

* Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins ~ 1967 Camaro SS-396 ~ SS/C {with '427 'L-88' Engine}
A closer look shows, a small 'Scoop' on the Camaro's hood.

* Motion Performance ~ 1968 Camaro ~ A/MP ~ {427 stroked to '466'}
This car set the NHRA A/MP record at { 10.98 } only 1-Month earlier {June 1968}.

There were only a few entries in this 'Open Class'.
