I find it pretty sad to find out that Bell is getting their helmets manufactured in China. I currently have an older model Bell helmet and will avoid a Bell in favor of a product manufactured here in the USA.
I work in the auto industry and my experience with the Chinese is, although they are capable from a manufacturing standpoint, they have to be watched very closely from a material and specification standpoint. I don't know how far the Snell testing goes when it comes to testing crash helmets.
