When did he get booted out of Division 3? Was that when McGee owned the car? The guy who owns the car now ran IHRA F-Pure Stock for 2 seasons in the Texas area and said he never changed anything on the car that David McGee did, he just ran it because the motor was just freshened by Parson & Myers and had no problems with IHRA. I guess McGee was not a favorite of IHRA officials and they went out of their way to screw with him. He said that McGee was torn completly down and they couldn't find a thing. They even took all of the piston/rods out along with the crank. Evedently they went over the motor with a fine tooth comb and came up empty handed.
