I did Google it. This thread comes up in the search now...

I sent the photo to Eagle and they said the crank is cast. The "C" in the part number stands for cast. I ordered this one:

The Crank I Ordered at the Place That Isn't Listening to Me

The 300 is the stroke and the 5090 is the rod length. That's all they have in common.
