Despite the cold temperatures (the 2nd coldest Thanksgiving weekend in the event's long history) leading us to run just two separate races in three days, in the long run we had a great weekend. 216 cars vied for the Friday $5K Warmup, and 208 entries competed for the Sat & Sun combined purse of $25,000! All win/ru/semi, round money and prizes from Sunday's $5K were stacked onto the Saturday $20K Main Event in order to complete everything in daylight hours as much as possible before track temps plummeted after sundown.

Here's Super Stock racers Jamie Southards' GT/HA Duster and Robbie Draughon's SS/I Camaro. Not sure what weight he was at, but he said he clocked his fastest run yet in the car, which I think was a 6.24.

Former Top 10 NHRA Stock racer Adam Davis won the $25,000 Main Event driving the beautiful bracket Chevy II for Thrasher Motorsports.

Former Bracket Finals Champ Ed Talbert wheeled his daughter's Vega to the $5K Warmup win. Nicole Talbert also hit the pay window, getting to the semis of the $25K in her S-10!
We're looking forward to hosting Stock and Super Stock drivers from all over for the Auto Meter Northern Class Nationals in May, and awarding some more of those Big Checks!
