Been following this thread for awhile and was thinking about the old IHRA days of Modified, with names like Mark Osborne and bro. Ted Osborne and ofcourse Gene Fulton and Strawberry Dixion and Kenny Melton, and Dane Pearson and the Papa Smurf corvette out of Kent. can't get his name in my head, these guys could rake a good old Doug Nash and keepem whinnding all day, the heavy flywheels are the best, oh almost forgot my friend Steve McCrearys beautiful Dog Gone Vette, man those where the days.............................................. .........
