Gt index handicap versus SS is a very obvious one. Bigger problem is bogus Truck motors in GT/AA at rediculous HP advantage over true performance motors.
454 vette motor GT/AA 10.40s, 454 Truck motor in Cavalier 9.60s. Thats the motor not the chassis entirely. Once again a California combination which started the death of GT/AA racing. Small block fly wt. GT/AA are also an issue for heavy BB cars. Is it index, is it MASS to move in the BB car? A 7 and 7.5 lb GT class could separate the BB and SB cars as BB could take out wt and escape to 7 or 7.5 class.No escaping a Bogus motor though.
