There was no et difference at all from 27.5 to 23 inch tires. However the reaction was definitely better.
In the early days when photocells was all jacked up yes maybe et difference. But in today's world they set starting line beams way to low. With the 23 in tires I have app 4 inches of rubber on the ground the same for the 27.5. Maybe half inch more where the beams hit. If the beam hit the middle of the wheel I woul agree but it doesn't.
