Two interesting combos: 1965 396/425 or a 1965 409/400. I once petitioned NHRA to drop the rating on the '65 396 and had worked out a deal with Dennis Oliver to put the engine out of my Camaro in his Impala. The Wow/Weird factor would have been worth it. The 396 / 425 would be a player at 385 which it is now. I cant agree more if you could get the 409/400 to run the wow factor would be through the roof.
