Never had any problems w/Crower's. I always use plenty of spring so they don't get beat on,if they are boucing around no ones will last,just some longer than others.I'm still not sold on bushing in place of bearing.
I'm also big on If it ain't broke don't fix it. (not fan of run it till it breaks though)
I had guy bring in 97 305 had 200K miles,cylinder's +.0015 after honing,crank std.on low side after polishing,wanted to know what oil I would use when he put back together,I told him use whatever you been using, cause it must be working.
