On the Crower an ISKY lifters they run .841 for size which is a .001 under from OEM and GM lifter bores are right at .844 and .003 clearance is way to much. And a non roller block with short lifter bores the lifters will scuff for sure.

I have found the Morel lifters run .842 and seem to work fine if the lifter bores have no wear and the finish of the lifter bore is good.

When buying roller lifters every one has to be ckecked for roundness and sizing and the lifter bares have to be measured for wear and roundness as well.
