Default Re: 1965 Mercury Comet

The 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone 289/271 'Hi-Po' was more than able to hold its own on the street.

Add,
A) 4.88 Gears
B) Traction-Masters
C) Hurst Shifter
D) Belanger Headers
E) Transitorized Ignition
F) Blueprinted Cylinder Heads
G) 7" M & H RaceMaster Slicks

And was a decent performer at the Drag Strip in 1965 and 1966, but as soon as those Chevy guys
figured out they could run the 1957 Chevy 150 Business Coupes with the 283/283 HP 'Fuel Injection'
in D/S in 1967,,,

That's all she wrote for the Mercury Comet Cyclone's
