Maybe he's got oldtimers and thinks it's 1961, wouldn't that be a hoot--- who knows maybe he'll bring out the old 61 Super Duty Catalina.------ Hope nobody tells him!!-------Danny

Hi Dan......I had an email awhile back from the Cox's son who is bracket racing in Calif. talking about about the 61 SD of Mike Miatico's . I think he said Mike was 93 years young and STILL has the old Mickey Thompson Pontiac. Gezzzzz...those were good fun days but thats NOT the 61 I beat at Capitol and Aquasco. Mikes Pontiac was WAY faster than my 65 Plymouth. This was a lower class Pontiac that I ran in F/SA class (12.5 lb class in 1965) that was driven by a Don (or Ron) Roister(sp????). Do you remember him? It was a Catalina hard top not a Ventura and had a 389 with a "slim Jim" trans. Same color though with the 8 lug wheels and for the time it was set up with headers, gears, casler slicks, etc. I remember it pretty good because of winning the races against it. Its the only times I remember seeing it. What have you been doing? Im heading over to Tampa Friday for the National Street Rod Assoc. show with my coupe. Ive met a lot of good people at the shows but its not as much fun as racing USED to be. Just less expensive and a lot less work.....LOL.
