I have used a borescope at work. They are a really nice but, it's all of the borescope for all you can spend. The unit I use is $12K. The cheaper units have limitations like too large of a projection head that limits the area you can access. Also, the cheaper units have a limited range of projection head motion so the area you are trying to scan can be very small. If you are going to buy a borescope, do your homework the difference between units can vary a great deal.
