The great part of these events, is that you know you are with good people. This was also reflected by some track workers, who were impressed by the politeness and demeanor of the participants. The event had 4 time shots, shootouts and elims with no oildowns or delays. Great job by everyone.
The real story of the weekend is the SG winner, Joe Bouman. This guy shows up having never run a stop and takes the Wally. I asked him who built the car, he states he did, I ask who built the engine, once again he did it himself. Yes Colorful it's a 406 small block.
