Most of the professionally built stock/super stock cars I have seen, as well the new factory race cars have aluminum fuel cells if that tells you anything.

That said, I wouldn't waste my $ or time putting a fuel cell in your stocker wagon, there is no performance advantage as I've made over 4000 passes in my '68 Chevelle with the factory unsumped gas tank, running as quick as 9.80's and 60 footing a best of 1.28.
