Dave,
That 300K policy is for Liability only.
Does not cover property damage from what I understand.
So if someone wacks your sh_t then you are still stuck with the tab unless you take matters in your own hands which you know me that is what I would do.
I have not seen this policy required at other tracks other than just paying a one time fee to register the vehicle. I have a few sources looking into this.
