Blowing oil out of trans?
A friend of mine has a SBC stocker and recently experienced a problem. He made several passes with no problems. But on his last pass once he crossed the finish line and got out of it it started pooring smoke out. He saw it, cut it off and coasted off the track. When I got to him he showed me where the dip stick was pushed out and trans oil was everywhere!. It is a T200 with a breather tube on the firewall and a locking dipstick. He just loaded it up and went home. The trans seamed to work ok after that. What could cause this? The trans is not brand new but not wore out. Any ideas? Thanks
