I found an old Carter 'Zip-Kit' booklet,,,,,,,,,,

The #2790 and #2791 AFB's though rated at a general 500 CFM,
were listed at 490 to 505 CFM's.

The #3258 and #3259 AFB's though rated at a general 500 CFM,
were listed at 510 to 525 CFM's.

Besides the size of the Secondary Venturi, all components appear to be the same,
Jet size
Metering rods
Springs
Accelerator pump

Both use the same 'performance rebuild kit'.
