I think the Ford 427 Wedge engine horsepower rating was pretty accurate.

The 428 (355 to 365) depending on non Ram-Air or Ram-Air was more in line than the factory 335 HP figure.

Never could figure out the 429 SCJ,,,,,,factory rated at 370 HP.

Or the Boss 429,,,,,,at 375 HP
I remember them running in C/S in 1969, and just not impressing
anyone.
