only allows readily available and unmodified aftermarket intakes and certain unmodified Holley carbs with choke plates on
approved Crate Motor combinations. Not all factory crate engines have intakes and most, if not all, don't have carbs. Aside from that, they have blueprint specs to follow just like "regular" Stockers.
The new factory race cars are a totally different situation, which, ironically, are even further from "Stock" than any IHRA Crate Motor combo!
