I have a break pressure gauge and usually bump the car in with about 150# of line pressure once I'm pre-staged. The only time I've ever had a problem is when the two step failed and it went up against the high side at 7400. At that point the counterweights were coming in and therefor I didn't have enough air gap so it started to pull the car through the lights.

Sorry I couldn't resist. All this automatic stuff just confuses me.
