Default Re: 1967 Camaro with 283?

On the 1967 Z-28 302 engine.

The block casting #3892657 used for 1967, was a 327 small journal block.
2.299" mains / 2.000 rod journals
And with 2-Bolt Main Caps.

A special forged steel crankshaft (casting #3815882) was 'tufftrided'.

I've heard of the 283 67' Camaro,,,,,never realized it was an
'export only car',,,with a 4-speed.

But after some research,,,,,found out they were assembled in Switzerland.
