I've known Dave Smith for 30 years, since we worked at the L.A.County Mechanical Department shops. I was at Pomona in '82 when they won Super Stock with the Cuda. I've seen Dave's son and daughter grow up, and start racing, and there is no finer racing family on earth. You can't say enough good things about all of them. We also couldn' t have been happier for them when Darren won the championship a few years back.He and the silver Dart absolutely dominated Div.7 Super Stock that year. We're fortunate to know them.
